Every year, young Australians living in Germany, tour through Europe. On this years trip they will as well stop on 25th/26th March in Switzerland before their onward journey to Austria.
On Friday 25th March, dinner is planned together with our Under18 National Team in Zurich. The Australian Team will then be staying overnight in the Youth Hostel in Zurich.
Saturday, 26th will be a Baseball Doubleheader between Team Australia and our Under18 National Team in Hünenberg on the field of the Unicorns. Food and Beverages during the event will be organized by the Unicorns. Of course we all hope for good weather and reasonable Temperatures.
If the games cannot be played in Hünenberg due to bad weather conditions, the organizers have provided a backup plan. An extended gym (Heuel Gym in Rümlang) has been reserved for an indoor fun tournament.
We all are looking very much forward to these test games with the young Australians and hope for many spectators.
