In spite of weather and cool temperatures, the 2016 Season is about to commence soon now.
It is a big pleasure to welcome for the first time the Martigny Minotaures and the Feldkirch Cardinals to this years championship. New, respective additional Teams have been enrolled by the Dulliken Truck Stars, the Zurich Challengers, the Zurich Lions and the Zurich Barracudas (the Barracudas will this year have 2 Teams in the League).
We are indeed happy about this growth from 10 Teams in 2015 to this years 16 Teams. It shows as well that Baseball in Switzerland attracts again more players. To comply with this growth, the Federation has to put the Teams in the coming Season into three Groups (East, Central and West)
The 2016 1st League Season will be launched on April 2nd at the Heerenschürli in Zurich with the Zurich Challengers, the Zurich Barracudas and the Lucerne Eagles.
